Wichita, Kan. – July 6, 2016 – Air Capital Catering and its popular restaurant, Caesar’s Table, opens to the public this Friday in a newly designed space on the main floor of 125 N. Market. Initial hours will be from 11 am – 2 pm, Monday – Friday, featuring Caesar’s traditional hearty menu and buffet, as well as a seasonally changing array of lighter-fare sandwiches, salads and heart-healthy entrees. A rotating menu of family-style dinners featuring fried chicken, lasagna, roast beef, BBQ and more will also be available for take-out in the late afternoons, so downtown workers can pick up a made-from-scratch meal on their way home from the office. Valet parking in 125 N. Market’s covered parking garage is also available to restaurant patrons. The restaurant will validate all parking so customers don’t have to worry about finding a parking on the street when they stop by to dine or pick up a take-home meal.
“We cook like it’s Sunday every day,” says executive chef and owner Sam Kuns. “We want your family to enjoy the home-cooked taste of fresh ingredients, even if you’ve been at the office all day.”
Initially, Kuns will offer beverages, cinnamon rolls and light breakfast items for building tenants. Full breakfast service — open to the public — will be launched in the coming weeks.
“As we settle in here, we’ll be rolling out new restaurant features every few weeks, including the full service breakfast,” Kuns said. “Full bar service is also coming soon, and eventually we’ll also be open for dinner to serve the growing number of loft and apartment dwellers downtown.”
The 6,575-square-foot restaurant features a brand new catering kitchen and bar, along with new furniture and fixtures. It offers seating for up to 88 in the main dining room, plus seating for an additional 32 in a private dining room designed for receptions and events. Seating for up to 34 is also available on the indoor patio-style area of the building’s lobby. The restaurant has its own entrance off Market Street, as well as an entrance from the lobby of 125 N. Market.
Kuns, who has operated the catering business for nearly 25 years, is now booking catering for business functions, wedding receptions and Christmas parties in his new space, and continues to cater events throughout town. “Having a high-quality restaurant in our building was on our radar from the beginning,” said Nathaniel Wayman, Asset Manager for Security National Life Insurance Company, which owns the building. “A restaurant – particularly one that specializes in catering — is another excellent amenity for our tenants. Within a year, we expect Caesar’s Table will be the go-to place downtown for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a take-and-go-home meal for the whole family.”
